We say that a dog is a man’s best friend. However, in rural India, the picture is different. Here, the cow is considered to be a farmer’s friend. Many villagers earn their living by selling cow milk and dairy products in the market. Even cow dung is used as an organic fuel in the village homes.
It was a lovely morning in Shantiniketan, West Bengal. While I was wandering around, I saw this farmer going out for the fields with his quadruped friend.
