It was the morning we were to set out for Kausani fromย Nainital. So I woke up early at 5:30 that morning and went outside to observe the beauty and absorb the silence of dawn at Nainital. It has been my earliest morning capture so far. ๐Ÿ™‚

The following shot was taken at Kausani at around 6:45ย in the morning. I stood on the terrace for an hour waiting for the sun god to show up. But he was determined to hide behind the clouds that morning. The mountainsย and theย Queen’s Meadow yonder wereย covered withย aย thick blanket of mist and the entire valleyย looked bluish in the pale morning light.

    1. I am happy you liked the shots. But you know, I was a bit disappointed that morning with fog all over and no sun. ๐Ÿ™‚ It shows bad things have good side too ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you for stopping by.

    1. Hahahaa… it is exactly opposite in my case…I wake up early on vacation and late when I am home… don’t know how and why ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Yes, I heard about loss of natural resources as the population increasing there. This is sad and alarming. Kumaon is so beautiful and unforgettable! Thank you for sharing your thoughts ๐Ÿ™‚
